Who Uses CBD and How?

In a previous blog post, we discussed what CBD was. Now, we’re going to talk about who uses CBD and how they use it. Adult CBD use is extremely broad and covers a variety of customer needs and preferences.

Who Uses CBD?

Many adult users report using CBD for three main reasons: promoting relaxation, reducing discomfort, and supporting restfulness. That being said, this can apply to a lot of user demographics. For example, if you’re in your 20s and live a very active lifestyle, you may use CBD to help with all three of these purposes at various times of the day. This could also be true for middle-aged CBD users or even CBD users at retirement age. However, the right CBD product for you would depend on many personal factors. You can buy legitimate CBD products at CBD.co.

Below are some profiles of several fictional individuals who may have a use for CBD.

Fictional Profile: John

John is a 25-year-old working professional living in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a sales representative at Buy Our Stuff, Inc., an e-commerce platform. John has been working for the company since 2017 and has received positive reviews from his manager. However, John works 10-hour days from 8 am to 6 pm and is constantly on the phone talking to various individuals promoting Buy Our Stuff, Inc. to vendors and other stakeholders. Outside of work, John goes to the gym twice a week and loves watching hockey. John has talked to his friends about increased pressure at work because he has to meet new sales targets his manager has implemented.

Why could John use CBD? There are a variety of factors. In this case, John’s profession as a sales representative is very fast-paced and requires a lot of shifting gears. John could take a variety of CBD products to help with work-life stressors, such as CBD edibles or CBD drinks. The increased pressure at work combined with John’s long workday could also mean that John may also want CBD to help him rest at the end of the workday. Many CBD users report taking CBD to help relax so they can recharge their internal batteries. Any CBD products that aid with relaxation and restfulness could be useful for John.

eliquid.com - Who uses CBD and how? - Carla

Fictional Profile: Carla

Carla is a 39-year-old stay-at-home mom who lives in Irvine, California. She also does part-time work as a pet blogger. She is married to her husband, Tom, a 41-year-old working professional who is the Vice President of Research and Development at a computer software company. Carla is the mother of two boys and two girls: 13-year-old Tommy, 10-year-old Abby, 7-year-old Mark, and 3-year-old Alexis. They also have two cats: Princess and Countess. Princess is an older cat who has had health issues in the past, while Countess is a rescue. Carla is also part of the parent-teacher association (PTA) at the school three of her four children attend, and is also part of a support group for stay-at-home mothers, serving as the treasurer. Carla’s involvement in her children’s lives and in the community has sapped her energy in recent months. Some days she reports fatigue and tiredness. Carla is wondering whether she should maintain the same amount of involvement in her community while caring for her family.

Why could Carla use CBD? There are countless challenges that stay-at-home mothers face, especially when they have children, pets, and are involved in their community. Carla could try CBD tinctures, CBD lotions, and CBD oil to help with her unique challenges. Thankfully for our furry friends, Princess and Countess can also use CBD as there is CBD for pets.

eliquid.com - Who uses CBD and how? - Peter

Fictional Profile: Peter

Peter is a 68-year-old retired male living in Orlando, Florida. He worked in engineering for 43 years and has become relatively wealthy throughout his career. Peter also enjoys golfing with his friends and old coworkers. Peter’s six adult children have told him about the benefits of CBD, as they all report taking CBD for a variety of reasons. His daughter, 39-year-old Anne, has recommended a variety of CBD products to her father but he has not reported any success with them. Peter has reported discomfort when playing golf, which he has been playing since high school.

Why could Peter use CBD? As we get older, strenuous activity, like golfing, often leads to next-day discomfort. Peter may be able to use CBD capsules to help with his next-day discomfort after golfing and the capsules will provide a familiar delivery format. CBD that also helps promote restfulness may be beneficial to Peter as he has reported that he generally feels discomfort at night. Capsules are typically seen as an easy delivery method for CBD. Many older adults are accustomed to a daily pill regimen, and CBD capsules can easily be added to their daily routine.
